Bose QuietComfort 35 II Design

Bose QuietComfort 35 II Review

Whether you commute to work or fly a lot, the QuietComfort 35 II offers you an excellent active noise-canceling design. Compared to its predecessor, the QC 35 the 35 II is also available in a black or silver finish. The earphones have a leather cushioned headband filled with glass-filled nylon. The cups swivel and have indicators for left or right, showing you how to put it on. A fact is that the QuietComfort 35 II looks identical to the QC 35 with one minor difference, and that is the voice assistant available. On the left side, you have a button to call up the Google Assistant. Close to the switch is the volume, skip, and pause buttons as well. Furthermore, you can find the power/pairing switch on the right side and is easy to use and control the earphones.

How Comfortable are the Headphones?

Included, you get a protective case, and once removed, you quickly notice that you will have no problem listening to tunes on a noisy train. The weight is light on the head and fits snug over your ears. Furthermore, it seals well and weighs a mere ½ a pound without using the cable. Even when wearing them for up to three hours, we forgot that we had them on, that is how comfortable they are. Also, setting it up is easy by pairing the device with your smartphone using the Bose Connect app.

The earphones have an NFC chip for quick pairing found on the right side. For use with Android devices, it works well, and you can connect it via Bluetooth with other devices. Alternatively, you can adjust the setting using the same app and change the noise-canceling levels. When your phones connected, a female voice informs you of the process and when pairings completed. The application offers you some useful functions that are easy to use for pairing devices and creating an excellent listening experience.

The functions we enjoyed is naming your headphones and adjusting the noise-canceling levels. We also like the auto-off features if you happen to forget to turn the earphones off. Having voice activation is superb with the dedicated button for quick access. You can use it to find places and ask about the weather. Unfortunately, the earphones action button does not work with SIRI, but it is possible to use it manually by holding the pause/play button.

The QuietComfort 35 II Offers You The Best ANC

The headphone works with a set of microphones and algorithms to prevent external noise from entering the earcups. So you can enjoy a noisy train trip or travel by airplane without anything bothering you. Once you flip the ANC switch, you cannot hear anything, only the tunes playing in your ear. You are still able to listen to murmurs and conversations at times but not disturbing the sounds in your ears. Furthermore, you can control the level of the active noise-canceling to suit your needs as well.

The Headphones Have an Excellent Audio Performance

You can listen to solo artists, country music to hip-hop with these headphones. The sound is clear and offers you a full sound stage. Heavy bass tunes do not skimp on sound on the low end even when using at higher volumes. You can hear the vocals without the sound distorting, and the audio is precise every time. Alternatively, you can use the headphone wired or in the active mode. The noise isolation is excellent in the wired and active mode.

You can push the earphones to full throttle. The battery use is 20-hours, and the earphones only need to charge for two hours. Whether used with ANC or streaming music, you still get enough battery use. Moreover, if you want to save power, you can always use it with the wired mode instead. The call quality is good as well with the built-in microphones. You can hear a person clear without complaints. On the other hand, you can leave your phone 35-feet away without losing signal when listening to music.
