The JBL Endurance Sprint is a pair of workout headphones that will not exhaust your wallet. These earphones are made to withstand the abuse, and they fit securely. Furthermore, they are water-resistant and can even survive abuse when tosses into your gym bag. The sound is excellent and you can buy them at an affordable price. However, can we recommend these wireless headphones read the full JBL Endurance Sprint review and find out?

JBL Endurance Sprint Design

JBL Endurance Sprint

When we look for workout headphones, we want a comfortable and secure fit with a reasonable sound. So what do we think of the JBL Endurance Sprint model? The Endurance Sprint has a bold and big design with huge earbuds housing the mic, batteries, and touch controls. While some athletes may find the buds huge, the touch controls on the right earbud are easy to use. The earphones are made of rubber and plastic but remain rugged with high quality construction. The buds have a unique design that seals out noise, and they do a great job at it. So if you want a pair of buds that lets in some external noise, you will need to look elsewhere. Furthermore, the ear hooks are magnetic and provide a secure fit and do not flop around.

During workouts, we did not find them falling out of our ears. To complete the design the Endurance Sprint earphones have an IPX7 rating. Therefore, you can submerge them entirely into a meter of water for up to 30-minutes. Alternatively, you can buy the wireless earphones in three colors black, blue, and yellow. Included in your purchase, you get the charging cable, three sized ear tips, and an enhancer.

How well did they perform?

Using Endurance Sprint headphones has a mid-bass bump with excellent tonal balance. The mids are smooth and high without the harsh sound. However, these are not audiophile headphones, but the detail is something to be desired compared to the OnePlus Bullet Wireless earphones that have exceptional detail. The battery lasts up to eight hours, and it supports fast charging using the micro-USB charging port. Even the touch controls are simple to use and register most of the taps. However, we still prefer physical buttons, especially when you do have sweaty hands. Furthermore, we found using it to make calls a bit disappointing as people reported muffled sounds when talking to us.

Should You Buy it?

If you need a great pair of workout headphones at an affordable price, the JBL Endurance Spirit comes highly recommended. You will not have trouble getting a secure fit, and the buds do not fall out during strenuous workouts. Furthermore, they are constructed to withstand abuse and waterproof. Moreover, the sound, build, and secure fit with reasonable battery use are exceptional for the price. The touch controls may not be the best. Its sound is better than the Jaybird X3 earphones. So for the price these are gym-ready wireless workout earphones you have been waiting for.

Our Verdict

We liked the fact that the JBL Endurance Sprint headphones stay put and are comfortable to wear. Furthermore, the sound quality is okay, and the touch controls can be a bit difficult to use at times. Furthermore, the battery life is reasonable, and the ability to lock-them-in-place is a bonus. Moreover, we could use it hands-free by calling up the voice assistant. On the other hand, the buds do not place extra weight on your ears and remain secure in place. We did find that the earphones are not for audiophiles as it has small speakers but remains nice while the bass is loud enough. What is more, we feel that if you do have a limited budget, the Endurance Sprint headphones are worth spending your money on.
